The Audi A1 is a compact supermini launched by Audi at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Sales of the 3-door model started in the UK in summer 2010 with a 5-door model expected to be launched later. Its main rivals include the Mini Hatchback, Alfa Romeo MiTo and the Volkswagen Polo.
The all-new Audi A1 boasts a sleek, streamlined body, contrasting roof line and numerous customisation options. Step inside and every interior detail of the Audi A1 has been designed to complement its striking exterior, including colour contrasting air vent sleeves, exclusive upholstery combinations and LED interior light pack.
Under the bonnet, the Audi A1 boasts a three compact and fuel efficient Audi engines including the new 1.2 TFSI petrol engine with 86PS, a 1.4 TFSI petrol engine with 122PS and a diesel 1.6TDI engine with 105PS. All engines come with start-stop technology and an energy recuperation system to achieve low CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
The Audi A1 is available in three trim levels including the SE, Sport and S line. The Sport model includes 16’’ alloy wheels, sports suspension and Bluetooth telephone preparation with voice control. The top-of-the-range S line trim comes with 17’’ alloy wheels, S line sports suspension and black ‘Sprint’ cloth/leather upholstery.
