The Audi A4 saloon car is a family size executive saloon first launched in 1994. Since then two new generations of A4 vehicle have been produced with the most recent incarnation going on sale in 2008. Marginally bigger than it’s predecessor the new A4 has been completely redesigned and shares the same platform as the A5 Coupe as well as borrowing some of the A5’s sweeping lines. Internally Audi’s attention to the cabin is to the usual high standards. Audi’s all wheel drive Quattro system and it’s Multitronic auto transmission are available on many of the models. Equipment grades are standard trim , SE and S Line with a flagship S4 version going on sale in 2009.
