The new Audi A5 Sportback fuses emotive coupé styling with an unprecedented level of functionality. The car’s wide, low stance and V-shaped bonnet emphasises the A5 Sportback’s sporty looks and its elongated lines lead to its attractive and practical tailgate. Inside, the A5 Sportback is available with a wide range of upholstery in different materials and colours including the exquisite Milano leather, which is standard on SE, Sport and S line models.
There is a choice of two engines including the 2.0 TFSI petrol or the 2.0 TDI diesel engines. Both engines offer improved power, lower emissions, sporty performance and increased efficiency. The TFSI direct injection petrol engine unlocks superior power, more dynamic performance and a better economy. The Audi TDI engine is equipped with common rail and piezo injectors to achieve smooth, efficient and quiet combustion.
In 2009, Audi announced the 7-Speed S Tronic transmission option for A5 Sportback with 2.0 TFSI quattro (211PS) in UK market. Prices for the new Audi A5 Sportback start from £24,225 on the road.
