The Audi A6 Allroad Quattro is a crossover-styled estate car first introduced in 1999. Despite fierce competition from rivals such as the Volvo XC90, BMW X1 and Audi Q5, Audi released the second generation A6 Allroad in summer 2006 and the vehicle still remains a popular model amongst consumers.
The new Audi A6 Allroad boasts a number of off-road features and capabilities. As well as allowing sportier driving on the road, the new generation of the ESP in the Audi A6 Allroad features a special off-road mode which reprograms the ESP system, the traction control and anti-lock braking system so they adapt them to the specific driving conditions encountered in offroad terrain, such as sand, gravel or mud. Inside, the A6 allroad cabin puts some luxury cars to shame with its level of refinement and superb finish. The spacious interior is one of the best in its class and provides ample head, shoulder and legroom. The back can seat three adults in comfort and the wide seats offer excellent support for comfort on longer journeys.
There is a choice of two engines including the 3.0 TFSI Quattro petrol or the 3.0 TDI Quattro diesel engines. Both engines offer improved power, lower emissions, sporty performance and increased efficiency. The TFSI direct injection petrol engine unlocks superior power, more dynamic performance and a better economy. The Audi TDI engine is equipped with common rail and piezo injectors to achieve smooth, efficient and quiet combustion.
