The Audi Q5 is Audi’s most recent production car and second Q vehicle which goes on sale in the UK from the middle of 2008. Smaller than the Q7 the Q5 is a compact 5 seat off roader that competes with the BMW X3 and Landrover Freelander and a host of other popular mid size SUV’s such as Volkswagens Tiguan, Honda CRV, Toyota Rav 4 and Ford Kuga.
Similar in profile to the bigger Q7 the Q5 brings some prestige to the marketplace with class leading build quality and perfectly crafted cabins. At launch 3 engines are available – Two diesels, 2.0 litre and 3 litre turbo charged units and a single 2.0 Turbo petrol . Initially specification grades will be SE and S Line with optional S Tronic automatic transmission.
