After impressing the public as a concept car in the mid nineties a road going production version of the Audi TT Coupe went on sale in 1998. The second generation TT arrived in 2007 with demand just as high with the new version. With excellent reviews the waiting list soon grew and sales easily outstripped its biggest competitors in the sports coupe sector – the Nissan 350Z and Bmw Z4. Slightly larger than the outgoing model though still strictly a 2 seat coupe, although classed as a 2+2 because of the rear bench, the new TT is lighter thanks to greater use of aluminium in the body.
The TT uses a new 2.0 litre turbo charged engine developing 200 bhp against the 1.8 litre 180bhp used in the first generation car. A 3.2 litre V6 version was also available from launch and more recently Audi have installed a diesel engine in the TT for the first time. In 2008 a new high performance version badged the TTS was released which uses the 2.0TFsi engine tuned to an impressive 268bhp. Most TT’s come with Quattro permanent four wheel drive and the choice of manual or automatic S Tronic transmission.
For customers wanting to purchase a TT vehicle but don’t want to wait 3 months let the Carpress car finder source a TT that’s in stock now. TT discounts and cheap finance are also available through out network of Audi dealers.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
