Launched in 1972, the BMW 5 Series Touring is a mid-size executive car that is now in its fifth generation. Despite strong competition from rivals such as the Volvo V70, Saab 9-5 Estate and Audi A6 Avant, the BMW 5 Series Touring’s unique design, versatility and clever use of space have helped it become a popular model with consumers.
The BMW 5 Series Touring has a flexible spatial concept. When fitted with the optional Automatic bootlid operation, one touch on the release button and the boot opens. Smaller objects such as briefcases can be put in through the window, which can be opened separately. Beneath the automatic luggage cover is a flat load surface, a lockable luggage compartment and a great deal of space. The back seat also folds down with a ratio of 60:40. At the wheel, the cockpit of the BMW 5 Series Touring is packed with the latest technology expected of a BMW. iDrive with voice control, BMW’s Night Vision, Head-Up Display and Lane Departure Warning System are just a few of technologies on offer in the new BMW 5 Series Touring.
There are a number of powerful engines to choose from the new BMW 5 Series Touring. Whether it’s the velvety smooth six-cylinder petrol engine, the athletic appeal of the V8 engine or the powerful performance of the cost-effective diesel and petrol engines, all of the engines in the BMW 5 Series Touring come with BMW’s revolutionary EfficientDynamics. The 520i model has a 2.0 litre engine that gives 170bhp (127KW) and 210 Nm of torque. There’s also a wide choice of transmissions.
Trim levels include SE and M Sport. The M Sport trim includes, 18" M light alloy wheels, front sport seats, lane departure warning system and M Sports suspension.
On the road prices for the new BMW 5 Series Touring start from £31,085.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
