First launched in 2002, the BMW Z4 is a rear-wheel drive sports car famed for its breathtaking design and use of innovative technology. Despite strong competition from rivals such as the Mazda MX-5, Honda S2000 and Mercedes SLK Roadster, the second-generation BMW Z4 was introduced in 2009, replacing the previous roadster and coupé versions. The new BMW Z4 is a unique and stylish retractable hardtop roadster.
The new BMW Z4 is a modern interpretation of the classic roadster and follows in the footsteps of the BMW 315/1 and the BMW 507. Its graceful exterior styling maintains the classic roadster proportions, whilst a broad, sleek profile, elongated bonnet and intricate xenon headlights give the vehicle a more focused and purposeful stance. A fully-retractable lightweight aluminium roof, which can be raised or lowered in just 20 seconds, provides extra security, reassurance and sound insulation. And inside, high quality materials and finishes create an interior ambiance of luxury and refinement, whilst the large glass area increases light and visibility.
There is a range of powerful and dynamic six-cylinder petrol engines to choose from, all equipped with BMW EfficientDynamics. The sDrive23i model is powered by BMW's 2,497 cc engine which produces 201 hp (150 kW) and 245 Nm, whilst the top-of-the-range sDrive35i model is powered by a 2,979 cc twin-turbocharged I6 engine producing 302 hp (225 kW) and 400 Nm. All engines give exceptional performance with both low fuel emissions and fuel consumption.
The new BMW Z4 is the first BMW roadster to use iDrive. It’s also packed with other exclusive BMW technologies such as run-flat tyres, light-alloy wheels, and the optional adaptive M suspension which delivers power and precision straight to the tarmac to provide an intense driving experience like no other.
Trim levels include the sDrive23i, sDrive30i, and sDrive35i.
On the road prices for the new BMW Z4 starts from £28,645.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
