The Citroen C5 promises German build quality and reliability without sacrificing the French company's flair for producing class leading comfort. The car looks good too!

Its our second car, we just love it! It needs a bit maintanance but we went this car to europe (over 1000 milles one way) about 5 times now and we hope that lots of life is still in it. Love comfort of interior, its curvy lines. Plenty of storage places, we've got diesel and you can top up fuel just one during our trip. Hand rest are very comfy. Propably next car we'll buy the Citroen C5 mkII but bit younger than our (our its 2002).
Comfort, big boot - enough for baby buggy and all family laguages, fits 2 baby seats, its even comfy to sleep in it - as we did on our looooong trip :)
None its just great! Lovely to drive, big enough to family, very comfy, lux as well, great for everyday use and for longer trip.

This is possibly the worst car I have ever owned. It was sold to me by a (former) friend who is a car dealer/mechanic. It cost me £1000 plus trade in of a crackingly good but aging Ford Mondeo and has since cost £400 for initial problems to be sorted and then another £650 for"a service". The passenger door wont open, neither of the front windows open, neither of the 2 cigarette lighter/battery work, the heating only works on full or zero, there is no rear wiper - the whole thing is a joke!!! I suppose the moral is never buy from a so called mate and never buy a bloody french car!!
None - how can you have favourite features on a car that consistently lets you down. It has no umph, no smoothness, no road holding. I suppose it does have a big boot
I think anyone readfing this review can see that suggested improvements would have to involve a drawing board and the going back to it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since owning my car from new I have had very little issues with it until recently. It continues to maintain about 50mpg and is very cheap to maintain. I currently have 110,000 and the last 10,000 miles have been nothing but problematic with electrical faults.
My favourite feature of the car has to be the height adjustable suspension. Although it really doesn’t serve any purpose.
I would recommend Citroen take a long look at the electronics of the car and redo the design. I have had a lot of citreon ‘ghosts’ in the car.
There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
