I had this car as my first car. I got it second hand but the car had only had one driver before me. I like the car and would recommend it to anyone who has no children. Although the car is small and has a small engine, the speed can go pretty high and when travelling long distance the petrol does not run out quickly.
I personally like how the mileage does not waste. When I fill up the tank it lasts me a long time. I live near ealing and went to south wales and back on only a full tank! That to me is excellent.
I have however had alot of problems with the engine (the rev). I have had to call out the engineers twice and on both occasions they have uped my rev so I can drive at a decent speed but then this causes a noise. I believe this problem needs to be looked at because I cant have the only problem, others must have too

This car overall is a good run about. It is cheap on petrol which is always a bonus and the look of the vehicle to me is very smart looking. Recently I have had a few problems with it but the model is an older version now so it is expected for its age. I recommend a FORD KA to anybody as it is a very spectacular car. However, this car isnt idea for a large family as the space isnt very big at all. That is the only thing that bugs me with this car.
My favourite features of my car is that it is a low petrol consumer, and is a very nice ride. I would suggest moving the seats forward for more of a good feel and comfort. I like the wing mirrors as they are easy to adjust and move to suit my needs unlike other car mirrors.
I think that the interior of the car could be improved by extending the boot and making the seats removeable. I struggle to shop in the car as I cannot fit my food into the car. I went on holiday recently to Portsmouth and I couldn't fit my luggage into the car.

I brought this car due to having a MG ZR that was so bad I had no money by the end of it! The Ka is fantastic, it's cheap to run, the petrol lasts miles, it's light and quick. Also anything basic in the interior you can change for mod cons.
I love the stereo in my car it is nice and clear and loud. I love the fact that the car is so small (NO GAP is too small).
I would only suggest that all Ka's are built straight away with colour coded bumpers. That literally is the ONLY flaw!

I was lucky enough to have this car bought for me as an 18th birthday present and my first car. It is perfect for me as it is small, nippy and easy to park! It is very fun to drive, feels like a go-kart!
The car has a cute bubble interior that makes it unique and the outside design really sets it apart, it is light and easy to control and very comfortable to drive.
The car is very small so not ideal for families and not a load of boot space. Also, although it is distinctive, this car is very popular and so ironically it's not likely to stand out!

The first car I ever owned, my 1.3 Ford Ka was easily one of the best. Quick off at the lights (invaluable when in the wrong lane) and nippy around town, the only thing it wasn't so great at was long-distance driving. Easy to maintain, cute as a button to look at and a cinch to park, the only thing I could have wished for was a tad more boot space.
Stylish dashboard, simple, well-placed controls, flipper-type wing mirrors, relatively comfy seats and great design ethics.
More boot space, bigger fuel tank, more power on long runs, automatic retractable wing mirrors and a CD player as standard.

Bought this car recently as a low insurance & tax group gfor my daughter to learn in. Personally I have never been a huge fan of Fords but have been impressed. It is a nippy little car & we all find it fun to drive. This is a no nonsense car, interior is functional but basic. Makes in my opinion an ideal first car providing you don't need to transport large items or people as it is compact inside.
This car is surprisingly nippy for a car I expected to have no poke and although the interior is pretty basic it has all you require for a comforatble drive.
Ford bodywork is prone to rust & maybe just a few more pounds spent during production would improve this tendensy greatly. Glove box is a bit of a joke as it is not hinged and comes off like a lid. Thought I'd broken it at first!

The KA is a very nippy little beast on the quiet, great for parking and getting in and out of traffic easily. After having a Land Rover I thought I would have a small car that will fulfill my expectations and to my surprise this little KA does, I would recommend this to anyone, not just someone just passing their test.
The one surprising thing I found was the huge space in the back of the car when the seats are lowered, I managed to help a friend get their 40inch TV complete with very large box into the back with very little effort, then to my amazement still had room to fit other things as well, without having to alter the front seats.
The only thing is the sitting space in the back of the car can be quite limited, but having said that, I cannot fault this little car.

Fantastic little car, my second Ka to date. My first was in a pretty horrific accident and everything except the little cage of passengers was wrecked so, safety wise, it was a lot better than I thought it would be. The heating valves on the Ka's tend to be very unreliable - mine has just had number 4 replaced (in four years) and my last Ka had 2 in three years. That said, it's a fairly cheap part.
Looks like a bumper car and you can throw it around like one too. I personally like the look of it but can maybe be a bit 'girly' for some - hubby not too keen on being seen out in it!
Better heating valves, more comfort in mind with the design (very little footspace in both front and back).

I've owned my Ka for about 6 mths it is a y reg it is a very nippy car round town theres not really much i can say but it would be a good car for a first time driver. I would like to say it is very eco on long runs I can go london n bk to hitchin which is about 35 miles each way just on £10 of petrol so as you can see it is very good. The sound of the engine is nice and quite but girls beware coz if you have a boy friend like mine then you might get a kand n airfilter he thought it would be funny to see if i would notice and i did it sound like the engine is bigger then it is and when you go down the road people look at you like your mad lol
The sporty style and parts are very cheap and so is to fill it it up. I like the way the interior is designed it is very stylish. I wuld also like to say if you have a slight tint on your windows it looks fab as my car was resprayed black by the last owners and lexus lights put in so not all standard.
Te only improvemen is it could sound a bit more solid as sound very hollow when i close the door and i would recommnd a better stereo.

My second Ford Ka. My daughter now owns my old one, she easily learnt to drive in it, passed 1st time. Bought purely for its size and looks. Bonus it is cheaper to run, tax, and insure. Very nippy, easy to park and reverse. Also done long distance. Just love it.
The colour is bright yellow, with added flower stickers. Everyone knows my car. Only 2 doors but open wider than any other cars even 4 doors, very modern stylish shape and interior. Easy to drive, park and change gear.
Ford Ka do suffer from early rust, round the petrol cap first, sills and door bottoms next, seen with mine and friends. A new range of metalic citrus colours- lime yellow orange pink would sell like mad, make them funky!
There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
