I have always purchased either BMW or Audi cars but recently I purchased the Ford S Max 2.0 Titanium X Sport Powershift, this has got to be the smoothest car around. The looks are stunning, it drives like a dream and when you need the power the 203 BHP engine delivers. My wife, kids and even the dog absolutely love this car, it's full of really great features and spacious too.
The high driving position, built in phone connection and cruise make this car a pleasure to drive. Really like the privacy glass along with the extra seats that give this 7 seater the sporty edge over other MPV's.
Would love to see a scuff cover over top of rear bumper where dog climbs in and kick plates for rear passengers. Bottle holders for kids on a long journey would be a bonus, along with a electrical connection point at the rear of the car for DVD set up.

We thought long and hard about getting an MPV and have not regretted this decision. This car is very good looking, drives so well and can accomodate people as well as luggage. The seats fold down very easily (my 9 year old can work them) and seats 7 people. When all seats are up, there is plenty of room for luggage and everyone has ample room. We also have a dog who enjoys the extra space! The controls are well made, it is very responsive and safe. It drives well on the motorways and small roads. I would highly recommend this car!
The car has many features I like but the best are fold away seats, easy to adjust seats and up to four seat memories for the driver's seat. In the boot there is a clever secret compartment under which holds a lot of stuff.
There is not much I would want to improve but perhaps overhead compartments and drop down tables for the passengers would be helpful. Better ventilation for peole right at the back might be beneficial.

Great family car, plenty of room for a family of up to seven, even enough room in the back for a six foot wardrobe with the middle and rear seats folded down, very comfortable car, with front and rear seats adjustable back and forward as well as reclining.
The versatility of the seats, great boot space with the rear seats down, and like a van with the centre seats down.
Inclusion of a spare wheel would be useful, there is plenty of space to accomodate one. Additional 12v sockets would be advantagous, with only the cigarette lighter socket and one 12v socket in the boot, it leaves the car a bit short with todays accessories, I have mobile phone, bluetooth and sat nav all of which require a 12v socket for the chargers, thats without the kids phones, dvd players and the like.

Purchased my S Max from my local Ford dealer, it was 9 months old & had only 3K on the clock. Op extras included the DVD Sat Nav & upgraded alloys as well. Drives very well but mpg is not as good as suggersted. Only prob so far control on dashboard keeps telling me a tyre pressure is getting low even when it also tells me that it is ok!
Second row of 2 seats, easy to put up & down, not like my old Galaxy. The Sat Nav has got me out of a couple of trouble spots already (having always said I would never need/use one!).
The centre console sometimes gets in the way, as it is quite high up in the gap between the front seats. The automatic wipers sometimes are not shall we say that automatic (first car that I have had with this feature, so it might just be normal).
There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
