4.2 V8
Yes I'm a Jag Man. Just look at the new XK. That smooth body! It's looks like something you'd find cuddled up in a bed with silk sheets. I have a 4.2 Litre XK from 05 (NY05) and I love it. Wouldn't change it for the world. Then the new XK came out. I love the reliablilty of the Jag, we only have to MOT it ,no need for repairs it seems to fix itself.
I've had the Jag 2 years now and I think when I got it I had to change the alternator but that's it ... seriously! The interior is nice too somewhere I could recommend to definately have lunch. The ride is really really smooth it seems to go over speed bumps like they arn't even there. The 4.2 Litre engine kicks out 400 BHP which can i say ... Ouch! The power is immense. Mine is automatic of course and over taking is well to be honest it feels like you don't even have to try to over take. You can blow on the accelerator pedal and off it goes.
Just to mention this is a happy car just look at the front end... Wow! And there is even a Diesel version.
- Power Steering - I could turn the XJR with my nose!
- Comfort is immense - I wish I had one of those seats in my living room.
- It's also suprisingly spacious for a saloon. We've had ALOT in that boot and mainly my wifes hand bag colllection.
Personally I don't like the wheels they look to big and certainly bulky. But hey they can be changed. Maybe a smaller engine is some of the XK's would be nice. The 4.2 V8 is VERY thirsty.
There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
