Way back in the day when I was but a nipper, my mum owned a classic old Mini. And my one memory of it is what tremendous fun it was. Apart for people over five a half feet in height anyway. So I jumped at the chance to own a mini again, to see if it lived up to the memories.
Almost inevitably it doesn't. But, it's still a fun little car. The handling is excellent, and its pretty damned nippy. And there's way more space inside it than the old minis. Though you might argue that was hardly difficult. But with this model, you can have passengers in the back who won't hate you with every fibre of their being for buying a mini.
Plus its much safer than the old mini, scoring 5 stars on the crash safety test. Which, for those of you who remember old minis... where is the crumple zone? The passenger compartment.
On the downside however, it's not very reliable. And ultimately that was why I traded it in and got something different.
- Impressive miles per gallon.
- Suitably nippy.
- Superb handling. Good ride, even at speed.
- Exciting and fun.
Not very reliable at all. This was why I got rid of mine, it just kept breaking. And that's a major problem. Not sure if I was just unlucky though. But the dealer were pretty good at sorting things.

Fantastic spacious car, excellent to drive, fantastic smooth ride, its a pleasure to go out and about in on a daily basis, it turns heads because of its large rear and huge boot, the seats are very nice and soft you feel like your sitting in your sofa at home.
A 5 door mini is amazing, the boot is also quite large, all the features of this model amaze me no complaints or anything its a large boys toy
Nothing needs to be improved on this car, its a amazing car awesome to drive its been built to a very high standard its perfectly fine as it is 10/10

I've had two of those, one after another, just because I loved the way they work, I love the way they look. The handling is incredible, it is very comfortable to sit and be taken for a ride with great pleasure. I like the great looks, I think it was really well design.
I like the exterior design, the way it looks inside, I like the fact they are small and ideal for single people. It has proper power, great speed, just what a good car should have. It is definitely worth recommending, as second hand ones are not expensive if you really search for them, and they are pretty cheap to run too.
I like the mini's the way they are, they have never let me down, and I've had two of those so far. I think they do not need any improvements, except if you want to change something yourself, as put sporty stripes on or change speakers etc...

Always liked the mini brand and this is just the modern version of the mini cooper, its comfortable and larger so eaier to drive around town stylishly. The car not only gets from A-B but to C too, so you can take it on the motorway or even to Europe, its reliable as it is British designed and made like most BMW and other cars. The only real shame is that it was not made in Longbridge. Overall it is a brilliant small car that is reliable and very stylish.
Speedometer because of the shape and dials -very stylish. The interior styling is also good especially if you went for leather option.
Better fuel efficiency, the car is not that green and does eat petrol fast. An inbuilt satnav would be a welcome feature as it would keep your windscreen emty hence safer. Although projection technology would be very cool, and definitely make the car stand out of the crowd.

I bought it 2 years ago, it was bought from first owner, good small car, lot of space inside, nice journeys ive had in it as i have to drive as a part of my job. It is so easy to park the car, never had a problem, tho the back window is a bit small, but I am using the mirrors instead. I bought this car as I passed my test and had Corsa before but wasnt happy. This was a great change. Quiet car, works well.
Small, easy to drive for women and new drivers, my friend was borrowing my car when she was learning to drive. I love the look, like design, comfortable and better than many little cars from other manufacturers
As I mentioned, back window a bit small, and not much leg room for back passengers. Have to be driven wisely, as often it uses too much petrol when we drive by impulse.
