The Peugeot 107 is an ultra-compact four-seat car and is available as a three- or five- door hatchback. This agile city car is nippy and stable and features plenty of room for rear passengers.

I've been given a Peugeot 107 by my employer under a lease contract. After about 3 months of usage I think its a good time for an honest, down-to-earth review about how I experience the 107 on a daily basis.
On a sidenote. English isn't my primary language, my apologies for spelling and grammatical errors.
From the outside it's a relative small car but from the inside its suprisingly spacious. I'm 6'1" and i have no trouble with leg room, the tradeoff is that the seat has to be put so far back that i can't have a passenger on the seat behind me.
A downside to it being a relatively cheap car is that a lot of expenses were spared on features that are standard in most cars. Such as a the ability to adjust the drivers' seat height. One could argue about how useful this feature might be, cost wise, but i assure you, if you need to lean with your chin on the steering wheel everytime your at the front of the line at a traffic light, you'll wish you could adjust the seat height. The angle at which a (taller) driver sits is very uncomfortable when confronted with traffic lights.
The front window.Without doubt this is the numer 1 downside to the 107. Under sunny conditions, and having the sun shine through the front window, it causes a horrible reflection of the dashboard. I'm not talking about a slightly annoying reflextion, im talking about a reflection so strong that its difficult to read the licenseplate number of a car 30mtr in front of you without a pair of very dark, polarized sunglasses.
In my opinion, this makes the Peugeot 107 the unsafest car i've ever driven. Two weeks ago I nearly hit a young girl on a pedestrian crossing because the reflection to see properly.
I'll try to add a picture I've taken myself to this review.
Audio (the standard Radio/CD player).
Horrible, just horrible. A screaming 6yr old girl has more bass in her voice than this radio unit. The radio unit does not seem to accurately correct the changing of broadcast frequencies, sometimes its better to just adjust the tuning manually.
The CD player does not support MP3 format (what is this, 1995?) I'm pretty sure Peugeot have gone out of their way to find a supplier that had a bulk of these players stocked up somewhere. My advice is to not bother with this car component and buy a decent radio/CD unit from lets say a £10 bargain bin.
It's a supprisingly fast car for it's size though, i've managed to get it up to 170Km/h. Though i'd advice against driving that fast because it's a very light car, every breath of wind will send you to the adjacent lane.
The gears feel suprisingly long, especially the 2nd gear reminds me of a light motorcycle, it goes from 20km/h to 90km/h before reaching the redline. When you want/need to overtake an elderly driver on a 2-lane road, you'll need to shift back to second gear, take a run up and shift around 5000rpm otherwise you'll plow in to oncomming traffic. Noticable acceleration only seems to happen in 2nd gear.
It's a good car for driving short distances within urban areas, but if like me, you spend a lot of time on the road (2 to 6 hours per day)... Find something with more comfort.
Airco
On a warm day it struggles to cool the interior sufficiently, in my experience it takes 20-25 minutes to feel a noticable 'chill'. I advice against going on holiday to a warm country with it.
In the end all i can say for this car is, you get what you pay for. You dont want to spend a lot of money on it, you don't get a lot of quality. You'll get a lot of miles/kilometers for your money though.
It's interior feels spacious. The car accelerates quickly (in 2nd gear) and seems pretty fuel efficient. I don't keep track of how efficient it is because I don't have to pay for petrol myself.
-Default audio system
-Windshield reflections
-Airco
-Ability to adjust the seat height (I can't get my head around the idea that Peugeot assumes everybody who might buy this car, must be of the same length)

I loved my car from the moment I picked it up new 2 years ago. There was a slight problem which turned into a major problem in that it was difficult to engage reverse gear at times. The dealer told me it was a new car and needed to bed in. This problem has worsened recently and now the dealer is saying they need my approval before stripping it down as it could be "wear" and I would have to pay for this - approx £400. I've taken legal advice and am in the process of trying to get them to fix it. Its also had a new windscreen wiper motor fitted which required 3 trips to the dealer. Its economical and runs well apart from this
Great roadholding, economy, zippiness, fun, stereo, cornering. Twenty pound a year road tax, people ask me about it all the time, spacious for such a small car.
Peugeot Customer Service is terrible. Buy the Toyota version for better customer service. I didn't know it till I googled it but Peugeot are notorious for poor build quality and abysmal customer service.

I bought this car as a second car to drive me to work and back everyday to save a bit of money on the fuel as its main purpose but after using this I have pretty much made it my main car. It drives so smoothly and it is extremely good on the petrol consumption as it is only a 1 litre engine. I thought because of this it would be quite boring to drive but its a lot better than expected!
My favourite feature has to be the cheapness of running this little beauty but the interior is equally as nice and the seating is so comfortable! It certainly helps my driving performance, it handles brilliant on the steering even an higher speeds, a great car.
Well the only thing really about this car is that it can get a little noisy when the speeds get a bit higher but that might not be a bad point to everyone. The boot space is not particually large for someone that needs that extra space although there is more than enough room in here for all of my personal use for it.

This car has served me well over the past 2 years. Always been a reliable little runner. Provides stable driving with affordable comfort. Has very good Miles per gallon. It’s not the fastest when it comes to acceleration but will get the job done.
Favourite features of this car is the little body which makes it easy to see around corners, see whats behind you and parking is a doddle.
The one thing that I would say needs improvement is the use of electronics. Its a very basic car that could be great with a few extras.

This is an absolutely fantastic car, which comes in a wide range of bright colours as well as silver, white and black. Personally, I went for bright yellow - an instant mood lifter on drab winter days! I own the 3 door version, which causes no problems for me being a student as nobody minds piling into the back. Surprisingly enough for a small car, there is plenty of room for passengers.
The Peugeot 107, from my experience, is very reliable and has created no problems for me thus far.
The Peugeot 107 is highly fuel efficient, doing roughly 350-400 miles to a full tank, and only costs £35 in road tax. It is a fun car to drive, and is becoming increasingly popular, as I have noticed the number of 107s on the road vastly increase since I bought mine in July 2009.
Unfortunately, with the 107 being such a small car, boot space is an issue. I can only fit a few shopping bags in the boot comfortably, and suitcases/luggage etc has to be taken on the back seats. However, the rear seats do fold down if more space is required. I would suggest a bigger boot space in future models if at all possible, but other than that, the 107 is an excellent car at a cheap price!

This car is certainly very unique with its appearance especially! The exterior design of the car is very funky and something different so the car stands out when compared to other cars on the road. The interior of the car gets a good rating for me because of its quality.
You get some good space inside in the car, very comfortable seats. Nice windows and plus child lock fitting in the car making your experience with the car much better!
I have taken this car to many UK destinations and guess what? There has been not one single problem with the car at all. Its also very cheap on petrol and reliable in the bad weather so the car is a treat.
Only negative point for some customers maybe the car does cost a lot to buy. I think this has been a very good buy for my self as the car has been running very well on the road for me keeping me very happy.
The top features of the car are its steering wheel, its just so smooth. I love driving with the steering wheel and moving the car around its just brilliant. There is no issue with the car turning on bends either, thanks to the steering wheel of the car.
The car's fog lights are also very strong making the experience with the car much better. The car runs in the bad weather to something else I like to. There is just everything about the car to like.
I do have one suggestion the makers of the car could have made the drivers seat a little smaller. I think the seat is a bit too big but that is just a minor problem.
If there was a improvement I would have liked with the car then it would be the handbrake position. The handbrake position is a little bit located backwards than your normal car but forgetting that everything else with the car is fine.

I used this car as a "foot in the door" to the car market. I found the car to be a very pleasant city drive. It was good on footspace and overall comfort. The drive and ride position were excellent and the car gave allround excellent and safe vision. The clutch did get a little tempramental when trying to hill start (upwards) But other than that it was mechnically sound, good engine great box etc. The design of the car is a little bland, but it comes is a decent aray of colours and some of the optional extrass are solid for the year and the size of the car. For a 3dr its extremely spacious in the back and the boot is also a very good size.
Really the overall design of this car is worth praise. The erganmoic feel to both interior and exterior is very pleasing to the eye. The engine is solid and I really did not have any problems with it, other then the bite point on the cluche being just a little bit small in certain circumstances.
This car would really have benefitted from a few more creature comforts. The stereo and speaker setup was a little boring and really didnt make for decent in car entertainment value at all. Also the sunroof was really rather tempramental and didnt open most of the time that you wanted it to, which would lead me to beleive that the electrics needed looking at in this car.

My Peugeot is very easy to drive and light to handle. The seats are very comfy and I like the interior design as it suits my quirky style.
The car is very economical and I only have to fill up once a week which costs me about 20 pounds.
I love driving around in my little car.
The CD player is good quality and loud and I never have to retune the radio. The seats are a nice blue colour and there is room in the back for passengers. My favourite thing about the car is that it is so easy to drive and I only have to fill up once a week because it is so economical.
I think the headrests are quite big and the seat moving mechanism gets caught and is quite hard for passengers to climb in and out. The other thing is that when I go over 60/70 miles per hour the car feels like it is going to take off and feels quite scary so I just normally keep my speed down to avoid this.

I bought this car second hand with the intention of driving round town and performing short journeys at a cheap price. For this reason I believe this car is great as it’s small, compact, easy to drive and easy to for passengers / getting luggage into the back.
The sliding side doors are a good idea as its great when parked near other parked cars (doors don’t clash together). The interior is of a good quality with all the general amenities. The car was affordable as far as second-hand cars go.
However, as my job has it, I have recently had to do further journeys including motorway and this is where the 107 lacks performance. It’s slow up to 70mph and hence lacks practicality. There is also a lot of road noise which can be heard on the inside of the car at higher speeds.
My favourite features are the sliding doors as it makes parking and moving in and out of the car easy. The compactness of the car also makes it great for around town. The styling of the car in my opinion (although subjective) is great for the price.
Depending on the purpose of this car, (for me the intention was purely around town driving only), if you require this car for long journeys then I would suggest on not buying this car. It’s not exactly spacious, and really although sold with 4 seats, 2 adults pretty much fill this car. Also this car lacks performance, and is very slow in picking up speed.

After buying this car 6 months ago all I can say is how happy I am with it. Its reliable fun to drive and cost so little to run its fantastic. The seats are very comfortable, I do alot of mileage every day and never have I had any back problems. The trim quality is good for such a well priced car. Even though it is such a small car I feel very safe.
Best feature? Reliabilty of these little things is impressive. I have not had any problems since buying it. I also love the interior design.
There is limited space in the back of these. Not ideal if you have tall friends as they will struggle to fit in the back. Also the boot is quite small so dont be expecting to fit too much shopping in.
There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
