Got this car in a gunmetal black! It looks lovely and drives like a dream! Although the cabriolet roof leaked after a year and it took abit of sorting with Renault to get it sorted! However still recommend it!
Definately get the hard top, lovely driving in the summer with the roof down!! Also maybe a tiny bit more room in the back :p
Renault please will you get the roof sorted so no one else has this problem!! Also describe the colours a bit more in the catologue.

Since having this car from new its only 4 yrs old, not ONCE has it passed its MOT, nothing really big (fingers crossed) has ever gone wrong with this car but it is always the smaller minor hiccups that build up the cost. Since having it the main two front wheel struts had gone, the 6 CD indash player now does not work, all elec windows are working except for the drivers side window, problems with the fuel flap not opening is a nightmare! It eats tyres which at 17" are not cheap and the auto xenon headlights tend to flicker A LOT.
Keyless entry, cabriolet features. Its a shame for its flaws as this would have been an excellent all around car...roofless is fun when we get the weather for it, and the boot space is HUGE roof up or down.
All of the cars electrics are a problem. Unfortunately I will not consider another Megane CC for my next car which is sad..Shame on Renault!

This is the third Renault I have owned, and the second convertible. The new design coupe is great, the hard top is much better than the old soft top version, it has great sound proofing. The diesel version of this is very economical.
The boot space for a convertible is fab, there is so much room. We managed to pack 2 weeks worth of luggage/essentials in for a self catering holiday in the summer along with 2 body boards and a wind breaker. Very economic car.
Little more leg room in rear. We have also found that the air conditioning isnt the best which is fine in the summer but in the winter when you are trying to de-mist it can be a problem.

I have the 1.5 dci model, I drive from Leeds to Manchester 3/4 times a week and it is very efficient on fuel, good handling at motorway speeds, Reasonably nice on the eye. Me being a student haven't kept it in the best condition, the electric windows have become a little slow not too sure if its because of my lack of care or an actual fault.
I can plug my iphone into the radio so for long drives i can listen to my own music without having to change cds.
No major improvements for the price. I have marked the fun to drive bit below as a 7 so maybe they could make it a bit more fun but not too sure how they would do that. I believe that for my uses it is a very good and practical car.

The Renault Megane has some great features which is a great bonus, such as air con, stereo controls on steering wheel, electric windows and mirrors. The information panel on dashboard is excellent and tells you everything you need to know, from petrol consumption to oil levels and tyre pressure. It has lots of compartments for storage and the boot is a good size. The only problem I have had so far was with the passenger's side electric window, the motor needed replacing.
The seating in the Megane is perfect for all heights, thanks to the height adjustable driver’s seat. It is really comfortable when driving. I have excellent views from all windows and feel so comfortable in the driving seat. The Renault Megane is a Keyless car it comes with a Renault card. It has R.A.I.D. (Renault Anti-Intrusion Device) You can lock the car or open it from a distance which is really convenient. The start button on the car is brilliant you just put the card in, press start with your foot on the brake.
The fault with the electric window seems to be a common fault; this should be taken into consideration. Overall no complaints.
