All in the car is a fine car to drive, lots of interior storage space. Cannot complain with the fuel economy and the car seems to be quite sturdy and safe to drive. There are small pockets and drawers every where inside for you to hide all sorts of different things. I lost my digital camera for two weeks and found out my child had put it into one of those hiding places.

I don't know if it has been fixed yet, but the dash board failure ratio is terrible. Mine started with the clock not working, then the fuel and temperature gauges stopped working and then the whole dash board stopped working completely so I didn't even know what speed I was doing. One of the electric windows got stuck in the down position so I do not know if it is the whole electrical system that has the faults with it.

This is our 2nd Renault as we were so pleased with the previous model. It is the right size for 2 adults and a small one and has lots of little compartments, just what you need for kids. It has plenty of boot space and cabin space, it has air con and alloy wheels.
Leather seats, air con, alloys, it has the panoramic sunroof as its the dynamique. The paint is metallic and so looks very cool. The performance is good saying that it is a 1.6 and the car does about 35mpg around the town. I would buy another one
As for suggested improvements that i would make to the car i think it is quite difficult. I would add a mp3 player but i bet the new models have these as a standard fitting from the manufacturers anyway. You could always buy one of those mp3 FM tuners off ebay or someplace like that

I have now owned my Scenic for over a year and can honestly say its the best car I've ever owned. I find it a smooth and comfortable drive. The driving position is excellent and having the additional socket is great for the kids portable DVD player. There's plenty of room in the back with 3 full size seats, which is better than the newer models.
The head height in the car. Despite being not much longer than my previous hatchback, it still feels really spacious because of the height!
The windows fog up really easily and seem to take forever to demist. The air vents help a little but this could really be improved upon. Better MPG would be good too!

The Renault Scenic is a great family car. The large digital dashboard makes it so easy to check speed easily, turn up the volume or change channels near the steering wheel. Great space in the back for passengers and plenty of leg room. Trays on back of the seats and cup holders. Very fuel efficient, power assisted steering for ease of driving, electric windows. Seats are so easy to adjust and position and they are also easily removed for moving larger objects and for ease of cleaning. The hanbrake goes on by pressing a button and comes off automatically when you touch the accelalator.
Best features to the car are the storage areas. Below the seats are drawers that easily open and little spaces under the floor to store more belongings. The doors once driving cannot be opened from the outside and this is a great safety feature. Doors can be opened by pressing a button on the dash. Where the area where usual handbreak is you can store objects and very handy for handbag.
Improvements to the car would be that the boot though a nice size was a little larger. To enable you to put something taller in the boots sometimes means the shelf has to be removed and I didn't have this problem with my last car. So maybe something that could be looked at.
5Dr 1.4 16V 100 Dynamique
The car is roomy with 4 full-size seats meaning that me and my husband can fit an extra passenger in with us and our 2 daughters car seats with no hassle at all. The car feels large inside yet its size does not make it hard to park or manoeuvre. The double sunroof allows lots of light into the car and lots of air should you need it!
The electric front windows and wing mirrors make the car enjoyable to sit in and the seats are very comfortable.
The drive is smooth and easy and the steering is nice and light, the added height of the car makes it feels lovely to drive.
Boot space is fantastic, we can easily fit our double buggy, baby bits and a full weeks shopping in. The seats can also be removed to make extra space if you were needing to move large items.
Both our daughters car seats fit easily into the car and still allow the people in the front plenty of leg room.
A perfect family car!
Boot space, Spacious, Electric double sunroofs, Power steering, temperature display and clock. Powerful. Fuel efficient for such a big car!
None really, the car is suitable for all of our needs. It is sometimes a bit of an effort to get the car into reverse and I sometimes find the handbrake stiff.
