The Chevrolet Captiva (also known as the Daewoo Winstorm) is a crossover SUV first introduced in 2006. The styling of the Captiva was inspired by the 2004 Chevrolet S3X concept car and its clever use of features including the optional active all-wheel drive and five or seven-seat configurations means the Captiva competes well against rivals such as the Kia Sportage, Skoda Yeti and Fiat Sedici.
The new Chevrolet Captiva offers the versatility of an SUV with the style and practicality of a family car. Available with 5 or 7 seats, the Captiva is designed to meet the needs of a demanding modern family with its versatile seating and storage solutions. The Captiva also boasts a roomy cabin that is packed with a range of standard features including 16” alloy wheels, level ride suspension, air conditioning, 6-speaker radio/CD with MP3 jack and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
The Captiva offers a choice of two engines including the 2.0 VCDi diesel engine and the 2.4i petrol engine. The 2.0 VDCi engine offers a combined fuel consumption of 39.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 191 g/km. The 2.4i petrol engine boasts a top speed of 115 mph and comes with 5-speed manual transmission.
Trim levels include the LS, LT and LTX. The LT trim includes Electronic Stability Control, On Demand All Wheel Drive and 17” alloy wheels. The LTX trim includes full leather trim, 18” alloy wheels, rain sensor wipers and heated front seats.
