The Chevrolet Cruze is a compact saloon produced by parent company General Motors (GM). The second generation model was released in 2008 and its main rivals include the Mazda 6 Hatchback, Skoda Superb and the Kia Magentis.
The new Chevrolet Cruze offers impressive features, a wide range of petrol and diesel engines and classic Chevrolet styling at an affordable price. Signature Chevrolet design elements on the new Cruze include swept headlamps, athletic coupe styling and a powerful front grille. Inside, the Cruze boasts a number of features as standard including ABS, Electronic Stability Control, CD-Radio with AUX input, 4 speakers and electric front windows.
Engine options include the 1.6i and 1.8i petrol engines or the 2.0 VCDi diesel. The 1.6i has a combined fuel consumption of 41.5 mpg and a top speed of 115 mph. The 2.0 VCDi engine has a top speed of 122mph and CO2 emissions of 145 g/km. All engines come with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
Trim levels include the S, LS and LT. The LS trim includes front & rear power windows, steering column tilt and telescope, front fog lights and rear park assist. The LT trim includes electronic climate control, light sensing automatic headlamps, cruise control and electrochromatic rear view mirror.
