Launched in 2007, the Citroen C Crosser is a compact SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) that seats up to 7 people. Designed as an alternative to rivals such as the Nissan Navara Pickup, Mazda CX-7 and the Mitsubishi Outlander, the C-Crosser is a perfect SUV for those looking to combine driving pleasure and versatility with a distinctive vehicle designed for freedom and adventure.
The new C Crosser is versatile and practicable. The integral transmission gives the driver a choice of three settings, dependent on road conditions and driving style: two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive and a lock setting designed for low-grip conditions. All these transmissions are selectable using the control behind the gear lever. For passenger comfort, there is the standard five seats plus two fully retractable seats that fold flat into the boot floor for extra space if needed.
The C-Crosser’s 2.2 HDi engine generates a sporty 156hp, and is capable of a top speed of 124 mph. As well as head-turning performance, the C-Crosser can achieve an excellent 39.2 mpg on a combined cycle for VTR+ models with 16" alloys – all possible thanks to its weight saving aluminium roof and on-demand 4x4 system.
Trim levels available in the C-Crosser include VTR, VTR+, Code and Exclusive. Higher trims include sports seats (available in cloth or leather), height adjustable leather steering wheel and contemporary instrument dials and stylish door panels.
