The new Citroen C3 was unveiled in June 2009. The new model features a new design with a cutting-edge panoramic windscreen similar to that on the larger C4 Picasso and Vauxhall Astra Sport Hatch. The new model also sees the introduction of new range of engines.
The new Citroen C3 combines style, economy, quality and comfort making it the perfect car for commuting or for weekends away. The new C3’s outstanding design with Citroen’s Visiodrive boasts a sprawling glass panoramic Zenith windscreen which increases visibility for drivers and passengers. The new design is also more aerodynamic, roomier and compact than the previous C3 model. Inside, the interior of the new C3 is stylish and offers maximum comfort. The new Citroën C3 also has the largest boot in its category at 300 litres.
The new C3 has a choice of four powerful and economic engines. The 1.1i 61hp petrol engine is perfect for today’s urban environment, with low emissions and low fuel consumption. The 75hp 1.4i petrol offers a little extra power, making it a superb all-rounder. The 16-valve 1.4i 110hp petrol engine, available with automatic transmission offers excellent fuel consumption whilst the 1.4HDi 70hp diesel range can achieve up to 70mpg fuel economy and still gives a great all-round performance.
Trim levels include the VT, VTR+, Airdream+ and Exclusive. The VTR+ trim includes leather steering wheel, curtain airbags, front electric windows, air conditioning and Zenith windscreen with chrome insert. The Exclusive trim includes body colour painted front bumper, chrome door handles, front central armrest, anti-theft alarm and automatic digital air conditioning.
