The Ford Focus Coupe was introduced at the Geneva motor show in February 2006 and went on sale in October 2006 with a new model released in February 2008. The front end still retains the look of the Focus family where as the rear end has been completely restyled by Italian designers Pininfarina. The Focus CC has a fully electric roof of two sections which fold into the boot in just under 30 seconds, once folded away there is still over 240 litres of cargo space under the folded sections. Rivals include the Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet, Vauxhall Astra Twin top, Peugeot 307 CC and the Volkswagen Eos.
Ford offers the 1.6-litre petrol engine in a 5 speed manual transmission, where as the 2.0-litre petrol engine comes with either a five-speed manual transmission, or four-speed automatic transmission. For diesel fans ford offer the 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engine that comes with a six-speed transmission.
Trim levels start at the stylish CC -1 which includes manual air conditioning and CD player, the dynamic CC-2 with unique sport suspension, sport steering wheel and Sony CD/MP3 and the top of the range exclusive, luxurious CC-3 which features part leather interior, cruise control and rain sensing wipers.
