First launched in 1996, with a restyle in 2007, the Honda CR-V was first created to satisfy a public demand for a compact SUV from Honda. Since its release, the CR-V has fought off fierce competition from rivals such as Fiat Sedici, Renault Koleos and Nissan X Trail and now remains as one of Britain’s favourite SUV’s.
The new Honda CR–V truly gives you the best of both worl d s. It has the security of a high–driving position and the 4-wheel drive that you expect from an SUV but also has the stability and road handling of a saloon–style ride. The CR-V offers comfortable seating for up to five adults and the rear seats can be gently reclined back to create extra leg room when needed.
There are two engine options avaliable for the Honda CR-V. The 2.0 i–VTEC petrol engine gives you all the performance of a big engine but with the fuel efficiency of a smaller one. The 2.2 litre i–CDTi diesel engine uses a revolutionary casting method to produce one of the quietest, most refined diesels around. The CR-V is avaliable in both manual and automatic transmission.
Trim levels include the SE, 2 0ES and EX. Higher trims include 18" alloy wheels, leather upholstery, voice recognition DVD Satellite Navigation and a rear view parking camera.
