History Of The Jeep

In the early 1940’s, Willys-Overland Motors designed a light reconnaissance vehicle for the US army to replace motorcycle and sidecar combinations. This General Purpose Vehicle “GP” was nicknamed “Jeep” and 60 years on, Jeep is the oldest off-road vehicle manufacturer. For civilian use, Jeeps were produced from the mid-1940s, since then Jeep has gone through a number of owners and since 1987 has been a registered trademark and marque of Chrysler.

Jeep has always been known for its rugged, off-road ‘Go Anywhere, Do Anything™’ vehicles but also combines style and on-road comfort and handling. Products still feature the distinctive 7-slot front grille trademark design.

Car Leasing vs Buying

Car Leasing Video DemoThere are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
