Lexus is the luxury division of Japanese car maker, Toyota. The Lexus project started in the 80's and by 1989 the first car was released to the US market. The LS400 became an instant success, beating other luxury car makers like BMW and Mercedes on price and winning awards from the motoring press. The Lexus range has been praised for its build quality and reliability; it has been voted the most reliable car in the US for 14 consecutive years. The Lexus brand came to the UK in 1990 and has continued to grow ever since.

The Lexus range now offers three saloon models.  All offer excellent performance with keen attention to detail and high levels of luxury. The range starts with the IS model, a compact sports saloon that is now available with Lexus's first diesel engine. The GS model is larger and marketed as an executive performance saloon. The LS model is the top of the range luxury performance saloon, the LS460 version is fitted with a powerful V8 engine capable of 0-62 MPH in 5.7 seconds and a limited top speed of 155 MPH. The LS600h model is fitted with hybrid technology, this consists of a high performance V8 engine and electric motor which help the car to reduce emissions and increase fuel economy.

The RX range consists of two SUV vehicles, offering Lexus's trademark luxury and performance in a spacious and versatile package.  The RX350 model is fitted with a powerful V6 engine while the hybrid powered RX400h has two additional electric motors which helps it to achieve some of the best emission and economy figures in the premium petrol SUV market.

The SC430 model is a luxury four-seater coupe convertible. Its sleek aerodynamic form features an electrically retractable hardtop which seamlessly folds away above the rear wheels.
