Launched in spring 2010, the new Mazda 6 Hatch has a distinctive sporty appearance, improved cabin ambience and a new range of powerful engines.
The recently upgraded Mazda6 boasts the new Mazda “family face” along with new headlamps and rear lights for a sportier appearance. New chassis settings and several new active safety features including a new pivoting adaptive front lighting system and hill-launch assist have also been added to the new model making the Mazda6 one the safest cars in its class.
Engine options include 2.5-litre, 2.0-litre and 1.8-litre petrol engines and also the newly developed 2.2-litre diesel engine offered in three separate power derivatives: 129ps, 163ps and 180ps. Advances in technology mean the 2.2-litre diesel engine has class leading fuel economy and CO2 emissions without compromising on performance.
Trim levels include the S, TS, TS2 and Sport. The TS trim includes 16’’ alloy wheels, cruise control, trip computer with speed alarm, dual zone climate control, and leather steering wheel and gear shift. The top-of-the-range Sport trim includes 18’’ alloy wheels, partial leather / cloth seats, heated front seats, BOSE audio system with 8 speakers, start/stop technology and Bi-Xenon headlights with active front lighting.
