Mini Hatchback

The new MINI was launched in 2001 with a second generation in 2007.  It displayed many of the features and designs that were present in the original Mini.  This second generation car builds on this winning formula and although it may not look very different, comes with better engines along with improved safety and comfort. With its relatively light weight and decent engines, you can be assured of taut handling and good performance thereby giving it a real wow factor.

The entry level model is the One and this is followed by the Cooper, Cooper D and the top of the range Cooper S.  As well as the usual options, the One can be specced with the Salt or Pepper pack, whereas the Cooper and Copper D have the options of the Pepper or Chilli pack.  The only package available to the top of the range Cooper S is the Chilli pack.
Equipment options are vast, the optional items list just goes on and on, so as well as interior choices you can personalise the exterior of your MINI with a choice of body/roof and bonnet stripe colours.

The MINI One is powered by a 1.4 litre, 4 cylinder, 16V engine producing a credible 95 BHP with a 115 mph top speed and a 0-62 mph in 10.9s.  Average consumption is over 50 MPG and CO2 emissions low at 128 g/km.  For the 3 other models in the range, the Cooper has a 1.6 litre 120 BHP 16v petrol engine and boasts a combined consumption of  52.3 MPG with a manual transmission  With the addition of a supercharger in the Cooper S, the power increases to 175 BHP but can still achieve over 42 MPG and a top speed around 140 MPH. The diesel version is extremely frugal but still provides 110 BHP and with 68 MPG and with only 109 g/km one can expect very low running costs.  Some models are equipped with MSA - Automatic Engine Start/Stop (manual transmission only).  This feature provides a start-stop feature thereby shutting off the engine when the car is stationary.  When the accelerator pedal is depressed the engine is restarted with electricity generated from Brake Energy Regeneration. Transmission options range from 5 speed manual to a 5 speed auto box.

Car Leasing vs Buying

Car Leasing Video DemoThere are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
