The Australian cricket star Michael Clarke recently bought his fiancée a brand new Aston Martin Vantage only to have it stolen by a 14-year old boy.
The Australian model, Lara Bingle, is better known down under than here, where she is only really known as a WAG at the Ashes.
The model had a spare set of keys taken from Michael Clarke’s taken from his Range Rover Sport a few days earlier whilst out shopping.
The thief later went to the couple’s apartment block in Bondi and took the apparently theft proof vehicle using their keys.
The blue Aston Martin Vantage Coupe was later found in nearby Coogee where that sort of vehicle will stand out like a sore thumb.
The criminal turned out to be a 14-year old boy who was later charged with breaking and entry, entering enclosed lands without consent and malicious damage.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
