Chrysler has been helping out its drivers during this cold snap that had hit the county.
As the snow continues across many parts of the UK our cars can really bear the brunt of the cold weather. Starting up in below freezing conditions can be extremely damaging for many parts of the engine and drive-train.
Chrysler Oxford, who also supply Dodge and Jeep vehicles, are offering motorists a Winter Driving Check, helping people ensure their cars are in prime condition to deal with the weather.
The 22-point check, priced from £99 and available until the 31st December, 2009, covers the following; Oil and Filter change, battery and charging system test, brake system inspection and test tyre condition and pressure check, door and boot locks freeze prevention, heater and demist effectiveness test, cooling system leak test and corrosion check, power steering operation and level check, fan belt condition and tension inspection and much more.
As an added peace of mind, customers can also benefit from a free vehicle health check. This check includes a multi-point mechanical and safety check, electronic vehicle systems diagnostic check and any outstanding safety notices and recalls on the vehicle will be brought to the customers attention.
Commenting on the Winter Driving Check, Tim Keatinge, Managing Director at Chrysler Oxford, said:
“With the onset of winter, it is important that motorists cars are fully prepared for any eventuality. A few simple checks before the cold weather kicks in could prevent the risk of breakdown or an accident.”

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
