The Honda CR-Z has been rated one of Europe’s safest cars, gaining a maximum 5-star in the latest Euro NCAP crash tests.
The sporty Honda CR-Z hybrid is the latest in a series of Honda cars to achieve top marks, following in the trackmarks of the Civic, Accord, Jazz and the Honda Insight. The CR-Z gained the top score thanks to its wide range of safety features including Vehicle Stability Assist, ABS and Electronic Brake-force Distribution.
The latest Euro NCAP tests take into consideration occupant protection, child protection, pedestrian protection and the availability of driver aids before rating a vehicle with an overall safety performance score.
The latest CR-Z Euro NCAP results will come as no surprise to Honda fans. Honda has become infamous for the safety and reliability of its vehicles with every car undergoing an in-house safety test at Honda’s crash test facility at the Tochigi R&D centre.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
