If you missed out on the Government Scrappage Scheme fear not. Kia Motors have launched their own version of the scrappage incentive – called the ‘7 Year Switch’.
The new Kia scheme works in a similar way to the Government’s scrappage scheme and is open to cars between seven and 10 years old with a valid MOT certificate. Owners who trade in their old motor for a brand-new Kia can save up to £2000 off the list price and walk away with Kia’s exceptional seven year warranty.
Four models in the Kia range – the Soul, Pro_Cee’d, Cee’d SW and Cee’d – have £2000 knocked off the list price as part of the scheme. Up to £1,500 is also off the Picanto, Rio and new Kia Venga.
Michael Cole, Managing Director of Kia Motors (UK) Ltd., said: “Once again we’re giving more reasons for potential new customers to take a fresh look at Kia. We have exciting new, fuel efficient, safe and high-quality cars in our showrooms across the whole of the UK and every single model is covered by the best new car warranty in Europe – seven years and 100,000 miles.”
Like all good offers, the 7 Year Switch will not be around forever and only applies to new car orders taken up to the 31 March at participating dealers. Customers must have owned their cars for at least six months to qualify.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
