Children are being treated to a special day encouraging them to get into motorsports.
THE half term holidays are fast approaching and there will be millions of children scratching around for something to do. Mercedes-Benz are organising a special event to occupy the little ones and also promote motor sports to youngsters.
Running from February 14th to the end of the holidays on the 22nd children are being encouraged to take part in some of the activities provided by the premium car manufacturer.
Lewis Hamilton started young allowing him to be the youngest to win the Formula 1 Drivers Championship with Mercedes-Benz. Emulating his success children are being allowed to get behind the wheel of a Smart Car or Mercedes-Benz A-Class. Titled the ‘Kids Driving Experience’ it will be held at the world famous Brooklands Circuit, Surrey.
Whilst this is going on Mercedes-Benz will have the obligatory promotional spiel talking about how great they are in the performance branch of the company. It will probably be rather interesting but will be trumped by displays of the actual car Lewis used to win the championship.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
