President Barack Obama puts down the constitution and picks up a monkey wrench.
President Obama delivered a monumental speech today sending shockwaves across the globe.
Confidence in the Big Three brands has hit an all time low and people are not buying cars because they feel their warranties will not be valid if the companies fold so Obama has stepped in.
Although he won’t be pulling on the overalls to change a brake pad he has promised to secure the warranty and service guarantees of any car bought from these ailing companies.
"If you buy a car from Chrysler or GM, you will be able to get your car serviced and repaired. Your warranty will be safe," Obama said.
"Because, starting today, the US government will stand behind your warranty," he continues
Despite his claim the average American still doesn’t want to part with their cash. We spoke to Average Joe or as she likes to be called Megan from Philadelphia,
“I’ve always had a history with buying American cars in our family but if they go under I’m not going to risk my money, whatever the government say.”

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
