Smart Festival Goes Electric

Smart Festival Goes Electric

This year’s Smart festival is going electric with an exclusive opportunity to test drive the new Smart ForTwo Electric & a star appearance from 2008 F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton.

The 2010 Smart Festival coincides with the 10th anniversary of the arrival of right-hand drive Smart models in the UK and Mercedes-Benz has pulled out all the stops to impress the crowds.

Visitors will get an excusive chance to test drive the new Smart ForTwo Electric, which boasts state-of-the-art lithium ion battery technology and can be charged via a standard 13 amp socket. Places are on a strict first come, first served basis so you’d best be quick if you want to get behind the wheel of the new electric model.

To also keep you entertained, Mercedes have drafted in 2008 F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton to present the winners of the ‘Most Modified’, ‘Best Kept’ and ‘Best Dressed’ Smart competitions with their prizes.

Other attractions at the Smart Festival include Smart arrows formation driving team, a display of models from the BRABUS tailor made collection and a host of driving games that include Smart football.

The 2010 Smart Festival takes place between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 4th September. To register for the event, visit the Smart Fest website.

Car Leasing vs Buying

Car Leasing Video DemoThere are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
