Smart are embracing the diesel revival with an upgraded version of their Smart Fortwo CDi. The new engine has more power, more torque and a more improved performance.
They have managed to squeeze an extra 9 bhp out of the engine equating to 21 % more power and 18% more torque. This has resulted in it’s 0 – 62 mph time being cut by 3 seconds to 16.8 seconds.
In addition they have thrown in some nice extras such as air conditioning and soft-touch transmission as standard on its Pulse model. There is also the option to customise your car with features such as a panoramic roof and front fog lights.
Smart's Passion models get a Pioneer navigation and entertainment system with full sat-nav capability, Bluetooth, iPod/USB connectivity, CD and radio operation via a 4.3" detachable screen.
All Smart model lines produced from October 2009 onwards will get interior revisions too that equate to more fashionable accents and tones on the dash and upholstery.
From October the Smart model range starts from £8,517.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
