TomTom Supports Family Week

TomTom hav joined up with Enjoy England to celebrate national family week at the end of May.

VisitEngland have conducted some research that suggests around five million people are considering a holiday in the UK this year rather than go abroad.

With so much to see on our own door step more and more people are cutting the price of their holiday and reducing their carbon footprint by staying at home.

TomTom come in by offering families the chance to download some family friendly Points of Interest (POI) to their family satellite navigation system completely free of charge. The function highlights thousands of potential family days out that may otherwise have not been considered.

Need somewhere to stay? Want to find a restaurant? Looking for something to entertain the kids? TomTom have more than 17,000 quality-assessed places to stay, plus over 5,000 attractions around England that will answer these problems. Form theme parks to museums, to wildlife parks they’re all on there.

Damian Woodward, sales and marketing manager, TomTom, said,

“Sat nav is an essential aid to driving that can save a family time, fuel and money, as well as making the driving environment safer and less stressful for everyone - whether travelling to school, driving to work, visiting relatives or driving on a family holiday.”

“We are pleased to support National Family Week and help families explore new places around England, while also participating in some of the family-oriented activities as part of this special initiative.”

As part of the National Family Week activities, TomTom will also be taking part in a Guinness World Record picnic attempt on Monday 25 May 2009.

Car Leasing vs Buying

Car Leasing Video DemoThere are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
