Audi tuning specialists Avus Performance unveil the new TT RS with 460 bhp
Avus Performance are Audi tuning specialists and have worked with company before producing some extremely special cars.
This current offering is an unbelievably powerful Ur-Quattro Audi TT RS.
The Ur-Quattro is fitted with a superb turbocharged five cylinder engine. In standard form the TT RS puts out a respectable 340bhp and 332lb-ft, which gives it a 0-60mph time of 4.6 seconds.
By modifying the Engine Control Unit and adding a new free-flow exhaust system the engineers have given the TT RS a massive 30% horsepower boost and now the coupe delivers 460bhp and 472lb-ft.
The 0-60mph time is a stunning 3.8 seconds and top speed rises to 194mph. Avus has also added adjustable dampers and a set of gloss black 20" alloy wheels.
If you think you fancy one of these then the Avus TT RS will cost an extra £8900 over the £43k standard car.
Just short of £52,000 seems a lot but when compared against a £78,000 R8 4.2-litre V8 the TT has a higher top speed, has 40 bhp more and gets to 62 mph nearly a second quicker.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
