Aston Martin unleash the monstrous V12 incarnation of the superb Vantage.
In Geneva next month, Aston Martin will unveil the most compelling production sports car in the company’s 95-year history.
Building on the success of the V8 Vantage, the V12 Vantage will feature a 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 510 bhp, and 570 Nm of torque with a top speed of 190 mph and 0-62 mph (0-100 kp/h) time of 4.2 seconds.
Aston Martin Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ulrich Bez said:
“This is the ultimate performance interpretation of the Vantage range, combining our most agile model with our most powerful engine. It represents the definitive driving package; providing spectacular performance to ensure a dynamically thrilling and everyday useable driving experience.”
“The V12 Vantage has a unique character, one unlike our other cars. This will appeal to different people with different tastes, allowing more people to enjoy the Aston Martin experience. “

In what is good news for the UK job market the new V12 will be built alongside the DBS, DB9 and V8 Vantage in their Warwickshire HQ. Only 1000 will be made keeping the exclusivity and will be rolling out to customers in the third quarter of 2009.
