The Audi A1 is hot property at the moment. After winning the prestigious What Car? ‘Car Of The Year 2011’ accolade in January, Audi’s hot hatch has gone from strength to strength, winning over the hearts of critics and consumers alike with its striking style & impressive driving dynamics.
So, what do Audi do with the hottest model in their line-up? They make it better of course! Enter the new 2.0-litre TDI unit – the most powerful Audi A1 ever.
Set to take on the identically powered Mini Cooper SD, the new Audi A1 2.0-litre TDI boasts 141bhp and 236lb ft of torque, making it the most powerful model in the A1 line-up.
Top speed is limited to 135 mph and 0 to 62 mph is achieved in just 8.2 seconds – that’s 2.3 seconds faster than the 1.6 unit.
Despite the hike in performance, the new 2.0-litre A1 actually delivers an impressive 68.9mpg while emitting 108g/km of CO2, putting it in the £20 annual road tax bracket. Not bad at all...
The all-new Audi A1 2.0 TDI is on sale now with prices starting from £17,945 OTR.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
