Audi unleash the new, edgy TT RS at the 79th Geneva International Motor Show.
THE Audi TT became the car of choice for ‘trendy’ hair dressers after its initial release leading to a reduction in the overall credibility it carried.
Now Audi are raising the bar one step above what the average mullet-chopping glorified barber would be comfortable ambling to the salon. Fitted with a 2.5-litre, turbo-charged, direct-injection, five-cylinder engine that produces more than 300 PS; the new TT will deliver ‘explosive acceleration, driving delight, and unrivalled sound’.
In less than five seconds it will go from 0 – 62 mph and has a top speed electronically limited at 155 mph. As well as the engine, this is partly due to the Audi Space Frame principle being applied to its already lightweight frame.
Officially unveiled at Geneva it should be a real show stopper.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
