Audi has released the official photos and specification details of its new generation Audi TT.
The new 2011 Audi TT model boasts a new exterior design, new colours inside and out, new interior trim options and an enhanced engine range including a newly adopted 2.0-litre TFSI engine.
Stylish Exterior
Audi has made a number of subtle enhancements to the exterior design of the 2011 Audi TT. Adopting a new lightweight body, the new TT boasts a new striking front bumper design with deeper air intakes as seen on previous S line models. New alloy wheels and a diffuser inset into the rear bumper have also been added to give a more sporting emphasis.
Five new metallic and pearl effect paint options will be available for the 2011 model year. S line and TTS models will also boast a number of enhancements. The S line will receive a new bumper and grille design, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights as standard, new platinum grey diffuser at the rear and TTS-style side sills. TTS models get a new front bumper design featuring horizontal aluminium look double bars (which extend down to the fog light surrounds) and a new look rear bumper.
Revamped Interior
Continuing its reputation for quality of finish, Audi has made a number of subtle enhancements to the interior of the new 2011 Audi TT. New aluminium-look applications have been added to the steering wheel, centre console and the door liner. A new high gloss finish has also been added to the switches, panel surfaces and air vent inner sections. Complimenting the new exterior colours, three new interior colours are available including nougat brown, titanium grey and garnet red.
To enhance engine efficiency, Audi has also introduced a new efficiency program within the onboard computer. The new system displays all consumption-related data on the central display and gives the driver tips for efficient driving. A gear-change indicator also indicates the optimal gear for fuel-efficient driving, while another function provides information on which vehicle systems, such as the climate control system, are consuming energy and how that affects fuel consumption.
Enhanced Engine Range
Making an appearance on the 2011 Audi TT range is the newly adopted 2.0-litre TFSI engine. The upgraded engine improves fuel economy by up to 14% (42.8mpg and CO2 emissions of 154g/km) as well as delivering a whopping 211PS of power and 350Nm of torque. Fitted with a six-speed manual transmission, the TT 2.0 TFSI can accelerate from 0-62mph in 6.1 seconds - 0.5 seconds faster than its predecessor – and reaches a top speed of 152mph.
New Sport Button
A new Sport button – as first seen in TT RS – will now be available as an option across the whole Audi TT range. The Sport button allows the driver to alter the throttle pedal response (in manual versions), steering servo assistance and engine note.
UK Model Range
The specification range in the UK has been simplified with a ‘Standard’ trim level now solely reserved for the TT Roadster 1.8 TFSI. For an extra cost, this can be upgraded to Sport or S line specification. All other versions of the Coupe and Roadster (excluding the TTS and TT RS) begin at Sport level and can be upgraded to S line.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
