Demand for the new, upgraded Mazda6 has caused the Japanese manufacturer to bring forward the ‘on sale’ date of the 19-strong range.
It seems that both retail and fleet customers can’t wait to get there hands on the new 2010 Mazda6 which boasts a refreshed exterior and interior styling, additional equipment, improved fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions.
The official ‘on sale’ date for the upgraded Mazda6 range is 1st April but petrol models will be in dealer showrooms from mid-March with diesel models following in May.
Mark Cameron, Sales and Marketing Director for Mazda UK believes the new model enhancements have added to the Mazda6’s appeal: “Distinctive styling has always given the Mazda6 ‘stand-out’ looks from other family cars and the refreshed model has an even more sophisticated appearance.”
The new Mazda6 is available in two body styles (hatchback and estate) with six engines (three petrol and three diesel) and four equipment levels – S, TS, TS2, and Sport. On the road prices for the Mazda6 hatchback start from £16,990, rising to £23,445 for the estate body styles.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
