Kia have put the new Cee'd into production that features the Stop and Go system.
SOUTH KOREAN car manufacturer Kia have just begun producing the Cee'd equipped with Idle Stop & Go (ISG) system.
The new Kia Cee'd ISG is expected to save drivers 15% in fuel bills, particularly when driving in busy urban conditions. Like many of these systems the ISG automatically cuts off the engine when the car comes to a halt at traffic lights, for example. As soon as the clutch is repressed to engage the gears the engine kicks back into life. This reduction in idle time reduced fuel consumption and also carbon emissions.
The cars engine dynamics have also been altered to make it more efficient and it has a new high-efficiency alternator with brake energy generation.
The Kia Cee'd ISG will be on sale in Europe this spring but you'll have to wait until later in the year when they produce the right hand drive versions for out UK market.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
