The all-new Kia Sportage 2011 will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The new model is longer, lower and wider than the current model. It also boasts a new radical, sporty styling with a sleeker body and the new-look Kia “family nose” as seen on the latest Cee’d and Sorento.
The new Sportage will retain the raised driving position and higher ground clearance expected of a crossover but with a few additional changes to make the ride more comfortable. More space has been made for passengers and luggage than the current model and Kia claim the longer wheelbase will give the new Sportage a better ride quality than the existing model.
Precise details of the range are yet to be confirmed, but it is expected that both two- and four-wheel drive versions of the car will be available. Prices are expected to remain in the £15,000 – £20,000 price range of the current vehicle.
The all-new Sportage is expected to go on sale in the UK in autumn.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
