Since BMW developed the Stop Start mechanism as part of their EfficientDynamics everyone is onboard.
MAZDA have announced that they are to release the stop start mechanism with the new Mazda 3. Since the technology's release from BMW's EfficientDynamics range most manufacturers have copied it.
Everyone from the small Mini's to the massive Land Rovers. Sooner or later everycar pulled up at traffic lights will have it's engine switched off.
When the new Mazda 3 comes out it will already be 13 g/km CO2 mor efficient before the stop-start technology is added. Mazda are thought to have created a semi automatic gear box to improve transmission range.
With reports coming in suggesting this car is more sophisticated than the previous model it looks like it will achieve good sales, and be more than just a stop starter.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
