Renault pulls out the historic Gordini name for a special edition of the Renault Twingo
Renault love tweaking his little gem, making the most of it diminutive size yet larger than life stature.
The Gordini name comes from the classic days of French Motor racing when the Gordini series was a world classic.
Adopting the Renaultsport tag this indicates its credentials under the bonnet with a feisty, responsive 1.6-litre 133hp petrol engine with a distinctive, specially-tuned exhaust note under acceleration.
It has adopted the combination of French blue with classic white racing stripes and stylish, quilted leather upholstery that forms an integral part of the package - but with a distinctly modern touch.
Twingo Gordini Renaultsport is premiered until 10 January 2010, at the Atelier Renault on the Champs-Elysées, in Paris, as part of the prestigious showroom's 'Christmas in Blue' exhibition.
It will go on sale across Europe from March 2010.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
