Peugeot have unveiled the ‘5 by Peugeot’ Concept’ which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
The new model – which will eventually go into production as the Peugeot 508 - boasts Hybrid4 technology and a new exterior style.
It was reported last year that Peugeot were going to replace the 407 and 607 models with a new bigger vehicle named the Peugeot 508. The 508 concept model (named ‘5 by Peugeot’) will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month although some teaser pictures have been released.
The stylish concept boasts a new exterior style for Peugeot with big headlights, large front air dam and lots of chrome highlights. The ‘5 by Peugeot’ is also headlining as a hybrid car boasting Peugeot’s Hybrid4 technology to mate a 163bhp 2.0 litre HDi FAP engine to a 37bhp electric motor. Peugeot claim the new model produces 200bhp and has a short electric only mode and four-wheel drive when needed. It also manages to average around 75mpg and has CO2 emissions under 100g/km.
More details about the ‘5 by Peugeot’ concept is expected to be revealed in Geneva next month.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
