Porsche has unveiled their third model in the Boxster range – the stunning Boxster Spyder Roadster.
The new Boxster Spyder is the lightest model in the Porsche line-up, weighing just 1,275 kg and has been designed to appeal to Porsche fans who want an open-air driving experience.
The striking Spyder has all the design characteristics of a classic Porsche Boxster but with subtle roadster styling. The new, elegantly long rear lid, together with new wheels and distinctive styling touches, give the car an absolutely unique look. The low-slung, lightweight soft top also extends far to the rear to protect the driver and passenger from bright sunshine, wind and rain.
Inside, the interior styling of the new Boxster Spyder has been adopted from the Boxster S, but re-worked to emphasise the Spyder’s sporty heritage. Finished mainly in black, the cockpit is complemented by features in exterior colour and highlights in red.
Under the bonnet, the Boxster Spyder features a tuned version of the 3.4-litre flat six ‘boxer’ engine with Direct Fuel Injection. It boasts a maximum output is 320 bhp and features a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. When equipped with the optional PDK double-clutch transmission and Sports Chrono Package, the new Spyder can accelerate from a standstill to 62mph in just 4.8 seconds.
Standard specification on every Spyder includes 6-speed manual transmission, 19” Boxster Spyder alloy wheels, manual two-piece hood comprising sunshield and weather protector, wind deflector, sports chassis lowered by 20 mm, lightweight carbon fibre sports bucket seats trimmed in Alcantara/leather, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), 3-spoke sports steering wheel, fixed rear spoiler, and heat insulating glass.
Prices for the new Porsche Boxster Spyder start from £46,387 OTR.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
