Porsche Panamera – New Styling & Performance Options

Porsche Panamera – New Styling & Performance Options

From September, a wide range of new styling and performance options will be available for the stunning Porsche Panamera.

Three new packages including a performance Powerkit, Sport Design Package and Torque Vectoring Plus package enhance the exterior style, power and performance of the popular supercar. The new options will available on Panamera models from September 2010 at selected Porsche dealerships.

Panamera Turbo Powerkit:

If the standard 500 bhp isn’t fast enough for you, customers can now invest in a new Panamera Turbo Powerkit. Developed especially for the Panamera Turbo model, the Powerkit boasts two new turbochargers with titanium-alloy turbine wheels which boost the engine output by 40 hp to a whopping 540 hp. Torque rises to 750 Nm from 700 Nm. Enhancements have also been made to the engine management computer, improving engine's responsiveness.

In Sport Plus mode, the Panamera Turbo with Powerkit accelerates 0.1 sec faster than the standard car, achieving 0-62mph in just 3.9 sec. Top speed is 190mph compared with standard 188mph. What’s even more impressive is that the fuel consumption of 24.6 mpg which stays the same as the 500 hp version despite the extra power – genius!

The Porsche Panamera Turbo Powerkit will be available from September 2010 at a price of £11,118 including VAT.

Sport Design Package:

The new Sport Design Package emphasises the sporting appearance and driving dynamics of the Panamera thanks to the new 20-inch Panamera Sport alloy wheels, unique body-coloured nose with wider black air intake grilles, separate side skirts and the body-coloured rear underbody apron with diffuser and fins.

The Sport Design Package will be available from Porsche Exclusive for £2,516 including VAT.

Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus:

From September, customers seeking to further increase the chassis agility of the V8-engined Panamera models can specify Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) as an option.

PTV Plus optimises steering behaviour by intervening in the brakes on the inner rear wheel in a bend to generate additional rotational force. The result is a more direct and dynamic steering response when cornering. The Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is priced at £3,130.

Car Leasing vs Buying

Car Leasing Video DemoThere are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
