Who can get their hands on a new Renault Megane this summer for under £11,000? Well, just about everyone it seems as Renault has just launched a new special edition Megane Generation with prices starting from £10,995. Now that's one way to g-g-get around this summer.
The current Renault Megane is one of the smartest looking hatchbacks currently on sale in the UK and is also one of the safest, having scored the highest ever score in the Euro NCAP crash tests.
The new five-door hatchback version replaces the outgoing Extreme model and is available with a 1.6 petrol or 1.5 diesel engine. As part of the 'Vive Le Summer' promotion, the entry-level 1.6 petrol will be available to retail cash buyers for just £10,995 – a saving of £3,000.
Each Generation model comes with a few toys, such as radio/CD player, air conditioning, cruise control, hands free keycard and electric front windows and mirrors.
So whatever your generation, this is one car that's surely worth talking about?

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
