The successful Renault Clio is about to embark on a new chapter as it approaches it’s 20th year.
THE PREVIOUS incarnation of the hot hatch was a very popular model winning it Car of the Year back in 2006.
Awarded for being the benchmark in cabin space, safety, comfort and roadholding they have aimed to recreate these features in the new model. It comes from the same stable as the new Renault Megane, imitating the design through the front with its own Clio twist.
Renault have also aimed to maintain a certain ‘Va Va Voom’ by creating a GT model that is sure to be a popular model.
This Clio is also due to be the first that comes with an affordable solution to integrated GPS navigation. Designed by market leader TomTom, the Carminat TomTom has been specially developed to be integrated into the Renault Clio for an affordable price less than £500.
